On-Demand Learning (ODL)

The main modules in the Local curriculum are by JomTuisyen 

Primary level (Year 1-Year 6) and Secondary (Form 1- Form 5) 

Other ODL modules cover all ages with an emphasis on reskill or upskill. 

Created by independent contributors. 

Topic includes self-improvement courses, and technical (Google, Data Science and Analytics, Software Engineering). Current economy (Digital Marketing, Business & Entrepreneurship, UI/UX Design, Soft Skills)

Instructor Led Training (ILT)

Includes reskill and certification courses.

Some modules are created by industry players (Licensed Tourist Guide Course, Unitar micro-credentials, Asia Business School) 

While most are from independent creators. Which provides mentorship and AirAsia’s own certificates.

Platform-wise, it works similarly to Coursera’s framework. ODL is video and assessment based. While ILT is live classes conducted via video call/conference. 

Airasia Academy to be first E-Learning platform to be HRDF claimable.
