Performance Review

The Principle behind performance review

  • The process of appraisals is used in the following actions but is NOT the sole contributor to the outcomes below:
    • Confirmations of employment
    • Bonuses
    • Salary Increments
    • Promotions / Role Re-assignments
    • Terminations
    • Disciplinary actions

The above is not exhaustive and may be subject to change.

  • The Process of Performance Reviews is designed to be collaborative and reflective by nature in a non-judgmental, and non-biased fashion where all views would be received and recorded.
  • The process is created to provide a roadmap for each community member to reflect on their progress and development as a professional which should be acted upon.
  • The past Performance review should be used as a guide to understand progress as a person.

Process

  1. Participants Identified.
    • Staff under review
    • Superior of Staff
    • Nominated parallel rank colleague
  2. Independent forms given to the participants and returned to HR
  3. All forms are given to the superior assessing the Staff under Review
  4. Nominated Parallel rank colleague's form will remain confidential and will not be revealed.
  5. Face to Face meeting set up to discuss the reviews where the nominated assessor form will NOT be revealed.
    • In a situation of dispute, Comments will be made on either party where it would be mediated by the data in the nominated forms and finalised by HR.
    • All reports should be filled into the respective Staff under review's Folder and locked from all participants after the process is over.
  6. No Bonuses / Increments would be determined in this process.
